Thomas Walter Overton

Mr. Thomas Walter Overton was born June 2,1963 in Savannah, TN to the late Nathanael and Charlene Bell Overton. He was united in marriage to Lisa Walker on April 8, 1982. He worked for the Wayne County Highway Department, was a member of the Beech Creek Full Gospel Church. In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing, attending worship at church, spending time with family and friends and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Overton departed this life on July 25,2023 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, TN at the age of 60 years.

Mr. Overton is survived by his wife of over 40 years Lisa Walker Overton; daughters Erica Overton, Agenda Davis husband Daniel; son Stefan Overton; grandchildren Landen Prince, Chandler Davis, Autumn Brewer, Charlie Prince, Bentley Davis, Kira Overton, and Grayson Overton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Nathan Overton and sister Debbie Ainsley

 Funeral services will be held Friday July 28,2023 at 2:00 PM at the Beech Creek Full Gospel Church with Mr. Eric Warren officiating. Visitation will be begin Friday July 28, 2023 at 11:30 AM and will continue until service time. Interment will be held at Baucham cemetery.  Pallbearers include Jessie Boyd, Bennie Davis, Greg Warren, Myles Holt, Keith Horner, and Zeke Davis.
