Terry Neal McDonald

Mr. Terry Neal McDonald was born in Hohenwald on September 19, 1953 to his parents the late Mr. Doris Culp McDonald and Mrs. Margaret Rose Odom McDonald. Mr. McDonald spent his childhood in the Waynesboro area developing a love for the outdoors, fishing and hunting, a passion that would follow him throughout his life. He graduated high school  from Wayne County High in Waynesboro where he spent his scholastic career. In his adult years he would meet and marry his wife Mrs. Patricia Ann Roden McDonald on July 03, 1983, forever intertwining their hearts and lives, setting deep roots in their community together raising their children in the admonition of the Lord as he was a long-time member of the Waynesboro Church of God where he and his family worshiped and enjoyed spending time with his church family. He being a hard worker, made his career working for the Tennessee Department of Transportation until his retirement.  In his leisure time he could be found deer hunting, fishing, hunting for arrowheads, occasionally making knives or watching his favorite team the Tennessee Vols play football. Still, nothing in his heart compared to the precious moments he spent with his wife, children and especially grandchildren. Mr. Terry Neal McDonald passed from this life at his home in Waynesboro, TN surrounded by family on August 28, 2025 making his stay on this earth some 71 years, 11 months and 9 days.

Those left  to honor his memory are his wife of 42 years Patricia Ann McDonald of Waynesboro, TN; daughters Lorie Ann White (Jake) of Hohenwald, TN, Amy Sue McDonald of Columbia, TN; grandchildren Landree Ann and Clate White; sibling Larry McDonald (Judy) of Waynesboro; nieces Callie Dudley of Adamsville, TN and Clara McDonald; nephew Cameron McDonald both of Waynesboro; several  great nieces and nephews; as well as many other family, friends and many loved ones.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday August 31, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation, LLC Chapel in Waynesboro, TN with N. J. Pope and Tracey Sanders officiating, burial will follow in the Swiss Cemetery in Hohenwald, TN.

Visitation with the McDonald family will be held Sunday August 31, 2025 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.  All at the Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation, LLC chapel.
