Ruby Hazel Pulley Donegan was born December 24, 1924, in Wayne County Tennessee to the union of the late William Thomas Elihu and Deena Irene Devers Pulley. Mrs. Donegan worked for the telephone company as a switchboard operator in Clifton and later served at the office administrator for Shull Truck Lines. She will be remembered as a person that had a loving and nurturing personality. Mrs. Ruby enjoyed spending time with her family, many of them will remember some family reunions at her house. When she was able, she loved to work in her garden and putting puzzles together. She loved to read, especially the Bible and was beginning her 9th time reading the Bible all the way through. Mrs. Donegan passed from this life on Friday, February 14, 2025 making her stay in this life some 100 years, 1 month, and 22 days.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Donegan; and her siblings, Authur Pulley, Mary Cole, Billy Pulley, Aileen Clayton, Kathleen Bevis, Charles Pulley, Johnny Pulley, and Bobby Joe Pulley.
Visitation with the Donegan family will be on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM at Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation Chapel.
A graveside service will begin at 1:00 PM at Waynesboro Memorial Gardens with Casey Jones officiating.
