Robert Calvin Nelson

Robert Calvin Nelson was born March 06, 1947 in Wayne County, TN to the union of the late William Robert and Emogene Hollis Nelson. He was united in marriage to the former Sue Kilburn on March 31, 1967. Mrs. Nelson preceded him in death on November 06, 2013. Mr. Nelson worked as a supervisor at Angelica in Collinwood, TN. When he was not at work, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and liked to cook. He enjoyed to be out on his farm and loved raising a garden. He was a member at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Westpoint, TN. Mr. Nelson departed this life on Monday, Feburary 24, 2025 making his stay in this life some 77 years, 11 months and 19 days.

He is survived by his son, Greg Nelson of Westpoint, TN; two brothers, William Alvin Nelson and wife Patti; Donald Elvin Nelson and wife Faye both of Westpoint, TN; one sister, Iva Gayle Logan of Anderson, AL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the Nelson family will be on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 10:30 AM until service time at 2:00 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Jerry Robbins and Ricky Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
