Rex Allen Luker was born May 18, 1952 in Wayne County, TN to the union of the late Dewey and Ethel Franklin Luker. He loved to be outside and especially loved to spend time hunting and fishing. His love of the outdoors and his career in construction went together seamlessly. However, nothing would compare to his love for spending time with his family, especially his son and grandchildren. Mr. Luker departed this life on Friday, October 03, 2025, making his stay in this life some 73 years 4 months and 16 days.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Josh Luker of West Point, TN; two grandchildren, Lexi Luker; Ryland Luker; two great-grandchildren, Gracelynn Bogus; Westen Bogus; one brother, H.D. Luker (Linda) of West Point, TN; and three sisters, Edith Clifton of Pulaski, TN; Faye Bedford and Juanita Shiflet both of Lawrenceburg, TN; He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Glen Luker and two sisters, Christine Bedford and Mary Jo McDonald
Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, October 5, 2025 beginning at 2:00 PM at Bethlehem Cemetery in West Point with Jerry Robbins officiating.
