Phyllis Ann (Huckaba) Thompson

Phyllis Ann Thompson was born December 26, 1955 to the late Dallas and Mary Florence Brewer Huckaba. She was united in marriage to Joe Thompson on December 16, 2000. Mrs. Thompson was of the Christian faith and loved to ride around in God’s creation to see new sites. She was a devout lover of animals, and enjoyed all of her pets. Mrs. Thompson departed this life on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 making her stay in this life some 70 years and 11 days.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Joe Thompson of Lawrenceburg, TN; children, Bobby Jowhn Maples and wife Christy of Waynesboro, TN; Joseph Dallas Montez of Florence, AL; one brother, Dallas Eugene Huckaba and wife Michelle; and sister Gloria Joyce Huckaba both of Waynesboro, TN; she is also survived by four grandchildren, Wyatt Maples, William Maples, Magdalena Montez, and Adam Montez.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Shannon Maples.

Visitation with the Thompson family will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in McCall Cemetery
