Patricia Ann Franklin Stone was born August 10, 1939 in Mullins, WV to the union of the late Ralph and Ruby Blevins Franklin. She was united in marriage to Robert Stone on October 18, 1959. Mr. Stone preceded her in death on January 21, 2001. Mrs. Stone will be remembered as a sport’s enthusiast, as she loved all sports. Even though she loved all sports, the Florida Gators held a special place to her. She was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Savannah, TN and will be fondly remembered for her love for reading, especially reading her Bible. When her health allowed, she always had beautiful flower gardens. Mrs. Stone was the kind of person that will be remembered as a happy person, even when she felt bad, it was her mission to make everyone around her happy. She departed this life on Sunday, March 03, 2024 at AHC Savannah, making her stay in this life some 84 years, 6 months, and 23 days.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her children, Kim Laird and husband Terry of Adamsville, TN; Robert “Bobby” Stone and wife Debera of Henderson, TN; two sisters, Wanda Wilson and husband Ken of Baltimore, MA; Barbara Pais of Griffin, GA; two grandchildren, Brad Morton and wife Monica; Adam Stone and wife Leah; five great grandchildren, Kennedy Wilson, Michael Wilson, Scarlett Morton, Rhett Morton, and Ainsleigh Graceland Stone.
In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by two sisters, Jackie Davis and Shirley Richards.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 beginning at 2:00 PM at Riverview Baptist Church in Savannah, TN with Allen Guyer officiating.
