Melba Darlene (Smith) Carroll

Melba Darlene Smith Carroll was born December 09, 1963 in Lawrenceburg, TN to the late J.W. Smith and Barbara Kelley Gambrell. She was the valedictorian of her graduating class in 1983 and enjoyed drawing. Ms. Carroll departed this life on Sunday, September 17, 2023 making her stay in this life some 59 years, 9 months, and 9 days.

She is survived by her son, Jonathan Carroll and wife Sandy of Waynesboro, TN; three sisters, Diane Smith of Waynesboro, TN; Deborah Brewer of Lawrenceburg, TN; Dana Davis and husband Kevin of Hohenwald, TN; one brother, Jeffery Smith of Lawrenceburg, TN; three grandchildren, Makenzie Carroll, Jaycee Carroll, Brantley Carroll; and one great grandchild, Jamison Carroll.

She is preceded in death by her father, J.W. Smith; one son, Jeremy Carroll; and one daughter, Amanda Carroll.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 9:30 AM until service time at 12:00 PM at North Highland Church of Christ

Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 PM on Thursday, September 21, 2023 with Bobby Carroll officiating. Internment will follow in the North Highland Cemetery.
