Mary Lou (Barnett) Oliver

Mrs. Mary Lou Barnett Oliver was born in Ridegly,TN  on August 30, 1959 to her parents the late Mr. Claude Barnett and Mrs. Bessie Leona Hodge Brown. In her young adult years she would marry her husband Mr. William Oliver in 1986. The  two would make Savannah, TN their home raising their daughter and setting roots in Hardin County. The two would remain married until his passing on June 23 2025. She was a home maker who prioritized her familial duties and cherished her family.  She was of the Christian faith and in her leisure time she could be found reading and  watching her favorite television shows "Lassie"  the" Waltons" and "Little House on the Prairie". However, she held no other moment closest to her heart than the time she spent with family and friends. Mrs. Mary Lou Barnett Oliver passed from this life on April 08, 2026 making her stay on this earth some 66 years. 

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter Mary Ann Gooch husband Joshua of Savannah, TN; siblings Joyce Mitchell husband Jim H. of Savannah, TN, Dennis Barnett of MO and Teresa Petree of NM; granddaughter Alyssa Paige Gooch as well as many other family, friends and dear loved ones.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her step-father Woodrow Brown; siblings Linda Milam, James Barnett, David A. Brown and WC Rose.
