Lee Branford Lacher was born May 18, 1956 in Savannah, TN to the union of the late Branford Riley and Dorothy Dowdy Lacher. He loved to be outside and was especially fond of the Tennessee River. Growing up, he spent as much time as possible at the river, lived at the river and would go on to work on the river. Mr. Lacher was a Chief Engineer on the numerous tow boats over his career. He took great pride in his skill set as a mechanic. Mr. Lacher departed this life on Thursday, March 19, 2026 making his stay in this life some 69 years, 10 months and 1 day.
Survivors include his children, Annie Adams of Cleveland, TN; Jason Crummer and wife Kara of Burns, TN; one sister, Jean Lacher Sopcak and husband Steve of Jackson, TN; he is also survived by four grandchildren, Ava Adams, Isla Adams, Clara Crummer, and Clifton Crummer and three nieces, Sarah Bateman and husband Todd; Tess Sloan and husband Zack; Emma Sopcak
Private family memorial services are to be held at a later date.
