Kenneth Nutt Obituary

Mr. Kenneth Donald “Kenny” Nutt was born to the late Fieldon Leon “Buddy” Nutt and the late Carolyn Evelyn Porter Nutt on December 16, 1965. He, being a Wayne County native, graduated from Wayne County High School in 1983 in Waynesboro, TN. He later moved to Nashville, where he worked for Vanderbilt Hospital in their finance department. He in his later years would move back to his hometown Waynesboro and enjoy his retirement. He loved to “tinker” in his free time and had a talent for fixing antiques and enjoyed making old items work as they once did. He especially enjoyed refurbishing lamps as well as other older items. Mr. Nutt passed from this life in Waynesboro, TN at the age of 58 years.

He is survived by his brothers Curtis Nutt of Waynesboro, TN, Russell Nutt and wife Renee of Navarre, FL.; half- sisters Rhonda Pennington, Becky Reid and Rose Ellen Jinks. nephews Sebastian Nutt, Caden Nutt both of Navarre, FL. Kyler Nutt and Keathan Nutt both of Waynesboro, TN; Dawson Nutt of Martin, TN nieces Tristian Snelling and husband Justin of Savannah, TN, and Hannah Reaves of Florence AL.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday August 3, 2024, at the Green River Baptist Church in Waynesboro, TN at 1:00 pm and visitation with the family from 11:00 am till 1:00 pm with Greg Eaton officiating. There will be no graveside service. 

Memorial donations may be made to the Kenny Nutt Memorial Fund at Capstar Bank in Waynesboro or Venmo @Curtis-Nutt.
