Ms. Kathy Belinda Keeton was born in Linden, TN on May 14, 1967, to the late Delbert Wayne and Rachel Ann Crowell Whitehead. Ms. Keeton loved her family and the outdoors. She loved the Moccasin Creek community in which she lived and spent her time fishing and taking photographs of the beauty of nature that surrounded her home. She was a vibrant woman who loved life and made the most of each precious moment given to her. She loved to sing, especially karaoke, and would spend a lot of her time drawing. Ms. Keeton was of the Baptist faith having attended services at Green River Baptist Church in Waynesboro. She will be remembered as one who loved her family, her home and her Lord. Ms. Keeton passed from this life June 12, 2024, at the North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, AL making her stay on this earth some 57 years and 29 days.
She is survived by her children Pam Melson husband James of Waynesboro, Belinda (Sha) Nix and husband Thomas of Lawrenceburg and Raymond James Morris and girlfriend Autum of Waynesboro, TN; siblings Darlene Vance and husband Hermon of MO, Robert Wayne Whitehead and Andrea Jones husband Jerry all of Waynesboro, TN grandchildren Lisa Odell, Shania Harris wife Elizsabeth, Jessie Melson, Hunner Nix, Macie Nix Pennington and husband Asher, Mason Anderson , Teagan (Lou Lou) Nix, Alona Morris, Aubree Stevens, Olivia Morris and Madilyn Morris great-grandchildren Maci Melson, Ryan Odell, Serinity Odell and Leilani Harris.
Memorial services for Ms. Keeton will be held July 07, 2024, at her home 909 Moccasin Creek Road Waynesboro, TN 38485 with her children and family officiating the service. After the service her cremains will be scattered at the mouth of the Moccasin Creek.
