Joseph Avent Turner

Joseph Turner, 66, of Clifton, TN passed away peacefully in his home on July 24, 2024. Joes was the beloved son of the late Pat Turner and Mildred Turner of North Mississippi and his in-laws James and Polly Blanchard of Covington, Tennessee.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Carrie Turner; his children, Casey Turner (Cerra) and Lynsey Turner; one grandchild, Cate Turner. He is also survived by his brother, John Turner (Linda).

Joe was passionate about fishing, listening to music, and spending time with his family and friends. He worked at Dover Elevator and worked as an installation technician for Nolan's Audio Visual for many years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation in Joe's memory. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.

Many friends and family referred to Joe as Uncle Joe, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. "Celebrate we will, Because life is short but sweet for certain" - Dave Matthews Band
