Jordan Thomas Johnston was born November 18, 1987 in Nashville, TN to John Charles and Lisa Coleman Johnston. Beginning at a young age, it was in his heart to be a helper. He never had to be asked to help, he was just found doing what he felt needed to be done. When he became an adult, he was passionate to help anyone in need. Jordan’s highest honor in this life was being a dad. He could fix anything which went well with his career in construction and tool and die. He loved going to visit different state parks and just admiring the beauty of the land. He especially loved to travel when it involved a family vacation. Jordan had a heart and an ear for music. Many will remember him singing and playing the guitar or winning karaoke contests. Jordan was of the Seventh Day Adventist faith. He departed this life on July 23, 2023 in Nashville, TN at the age of 35.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, John and Lisa Johnston; his wife, Rebecca Ganote; his children, Kyleah Johnston, Angelina Ganote, Abel Johnston, Miriam Johnston, Frederick Johnston; his siblings, Jeshua Hinton (Tiffany), Aaron Hinton (Maria), Cana Johnston, John Johnston (Eva) and his God-sister, Autumn Swiatek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 10:00 AM until service time at 12:00 PM at the Savannah Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 PM with Bob Wint officiating at the Savannah Seventh Day Adventist Church. Burial will follow in the Lonesome Pine Cemetery in Savannah, TN.
