Joe Lynn Davis

Joe Lynn Davis was born in Waynesboro, TN on February 9, 1942 to the late Clyde and Vera Pearl Smotherman Davis.  He passed from this life on September 24, 2023 at Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation in Waynesboro at the age of 81 years.  Mr. Davis, a retired metal worker, enjoyed going fishing on the Mississippi River.  He was a very generous man and enjoyed helping people when the opportunity came. 

He is survived by a daughter, Sherry Cresswell and her husband David of FT. Madison, Iowa and a son Nathan Davis of Waynesboro, TN, 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, sister, Janie Hinson and husband Ronnie of Hohenwald, TN. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son, Chris Davis, brothers and sisters, Boyd Smotherman, (B.S.), John Lewis, Charles Glen, William Junior (J.R.), Gerald Wayne, Eunice, Clara Nell Dalton, and Bonnie Jean Deaver.
