Jerry Randall "Randy" Gresham

Jerry Randall “Randy” Gresham was born on November 06, 1957 in Waynesboro, TN to the late James Franklin and Mary Eloise Nutt Gresham. He attended elementary schools in Forrest Park, GA and Iron City, TN. He attended and graduated from Wayne County High School, Waynesboro, TN in 1978. He later joined the United States Army. Randy was married to Dorothy Dodd on May 19, 1984. She preceded him in death on March 14, 2009. He was employed at Murray Ohio for almost 20 years in both stamping and maintenance. Afterwards, he worked for River City Concrete in Waynesboro, TN. He enjoyed fishing and helping people with projects. He tilled the garden and bush hogged for the Wayne County Sheriff's Office. Randy suffered a debilitating disease which caused him to become disabled and unable to work. He spent the last several years devoted to taking care of his ailing mother. Randy departed this life on Saturday, May 13, 2023 in Lutts, TN making his stay in this life some 65 years, 6 months, and 8 days.

Survivors include his daughter Amanda Dawn Gresham of Lutts, TN; two brothers, Ron Gresham and wife Carol of Morhead, MN; David Gresham and wife Holli of Waynesboro, TN. Randy is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of loving friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Franklin Gresham; mother, Mary Eloise Nutt Gresham Duncan; step-father, Obie Duncan; wife, Dorothy Faye Dodd Gresham; brother, Donny Gresham; and baby brother Gresham.

Visitation with the Gresham family will be on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:30 AM at Waynesboro Church of Christ 

Funeral services will begin at 11:30 AM on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Waynesboro Church of Christ with Mitchell Skelton officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
