Jean B. Haddock was born March 08, 1927 in Wayne County, TN to the late Leonard and Ora Mae Moore Brewer. In 1946, she married Clyde Douglas Haddock. These two became the proud parents of three children, Brenda Haddock Wilson, Jonathan Haddock and Holli Haddock. Mr. Haddock preceded her in death on October 21, 1973. Ms. Jean’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was a faithful member of Green River Baptist Church for more than 50 years. She departed this life for her eternal reward on Sunday, August 31, 2025 making her stay in this life some 98 years, 5 months, and 24 days.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Haddock Wilson (Ric); Holli Haddock; a daughter-in-law, Martha Haddock all of Waynesboro, TN; two granddaughters, Ashley Haddock Covey (Taylor) of Atlanta, GA; Natalie Milam of Waynesboro, TN; and two great grandchildren, Maverick Covey and Ryder Covey.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Haddock and three brothers, Harlan Brewer, Sammy Brown Brewer, and Billy Dan Brewer.
Visitation with the Haddock family will be on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 11:30 am until 12:30 PM at Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation Chapel.
Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 beginning at 1:00 PM at Waynesboro Memorial Gardens.
