Mr. James Walter Lynch Jr known by most as Jr. was born June 05, 1963 in Waynesboro, TN to the union of the late James Walter Lynch Sr. and Rosa Estelle Davis Lynch. After graduating college at the University of Tennessee at Martin, he worked several years in the chemical industry and then returned to his hometown of Waynesboro and opened Tennessee Container. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf, playing rook and watching the Tennessee Volunteers play football or the UT men’s basketball team. Mr. Lynch passed from this life on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville making his stay in this life some 59 years 8 months and 19 days.
Jr. is survived by a son, Nicklaus Ryne Lynch of Chicago, IL; four sisters, Ellen Polk (Don); Diane Wallace (Joseph); Cathy Brewer all of Waynesboro, TN; and Melessa Lynch (Dale Scribner) of Lewisburg, TN; one brother, John Lynch (Rita) of Waynesboro, TN; he is also survived by 1 niece, Melinda Brewer (Jay) of Collinwood, TN and 6 nephews, Greg Richardson (Susan) of Pickwick, TN; Josh Swinea of Waynesboro, TN, Jamie Morefield (Jessica) of Springhill, TN; Joey Morefield (Laura) of Lewisburg, TN; Christopher Lynch (Jena) and Jon Walter Lynn both of Waynesboro, TN.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Wallace and Betty Richardson; and one niece Sabrina Wallace.
Visitation with the Lynch family will be on Monday, February 27, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 PM with William Wallace and Joseph Wallace officiating all at Full Gospel House of Praise. Burial will follow in Shield Cemetery.
