James Gregory Harrison

James Gregory Harrison was born March 17, 1960 in Florence, AL to the union of the late Kenneth Joe Harrison Sr. and Freida Ann Hanna Harrison. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time in the tranquility of nature. While he enjoyed a certain amount of solitude, in his own respect he was a people person. He was the kind of person that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. One of the greatest pleasures he found in this life was helping others. He will also be remembered for his non-stop work ethic. Mr. Harrison departed this life on Saturday, November 15, 2025 making his stay in this life some 65 years, 7 months, and 30 days. 

Survivors include his sister, Sherri Jan Harrison of Florence, AL;  one brother, Ken Harrison and wife Beverly Wilson of Destin, FL. He is also survived by a group of friends that he considered family: Michael Roberson and wife Sandy; Curtis Daniel and wife Kathy; Roger Buttram and wife Fredia; Robert Earl Hayes.
