Mr. James Edward Brewer was born on July 06,1941 to the late John Cebe Brewer and Nona Monie Jackson Brewer in Waynesboro, TN. He was a Wayne County High graduate and after high school he would proudly and bravely serve his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. Once he returned from his military service, he would marry Ms. Katherine Joyce Kilburn on June 04, 1966. Mr. Brewer wore many hats as he was employed and eventually retired from Maury Ohio Manufacturing after over 40 years of service as a welder and many other vocations during his employment. He and his wife would make Waynesboro their forever home spending the rest of their lives raising a family and setting deep roots in the community. He worshipped for many years at the Waynesboro Church of God and cherished his church family. Being an avid outdoorsman, he spent his leisure time fishing, hunting, and camping. He loved watching sports especially when Tennessee played, but nothing compared to spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, loved ones and many friends. Always with a smile on his face he greeted everyone he met with the same humility and kindness that is exemplary of a Christian. He will be greatly missed, and his memory will always live in the hearts of all who knew him. Mr. Brewer passed from this life in Waynesboro, TN on July 10,2024 at the age of 83 years and 4 days.
