Gayla Sue Andrews

Ms. Gayla Sue Skelton Andrews was born August 04,1967 in Florence, AL to her parents the late Howard Skelton and Jessie Rachel Reeves Skelton. Gayla spent her childhood growing up and finishing her scholastic career in Wayne County and would proceed in life as hard worker for her family. Over the years, she has worked as a Care Giver for several elderly patients and as a textile manufacturing with Angelica Manufacturing in Waynesboro. In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening with her father, mowing the lawn, collecting rocks she would find and drinking her favorite soda Pepsi. Still nothing compared to the time she spent with her children, grandchild Maelee and friends although, she loved babysitting Maelee and spending time with her the most. Ms. Gayla Sue Skelton Andrews passed from this life on January 16, 2025, in Savannah, TN making her stay upon this earth some 57 years, 5 months and 27 days. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, son Joelton Jackson and daughter Dahkina Creach with husband AL all of Waynesboro; granddaughter Maelee Lynn; nieces Zoie Skelton and Kayleigh Skelton and nephew Haden Skelton

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Anthony "Tony" Skelton 

Memorial Services will be held Saturday January 25,2025 at 1:00 pm with Greg Eaton officiating with visitation beginning at 12 noon on Saturday all to be held at the Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation, LLC.
