Ellis Ray Dodd

Mr. Ellis Ray Dodd age 78 of Lutts, TN was born to his parents the late Ellis Ross Dodd and Wylo Mae Cummings Dodd on January 19, 1947, in Lutts, TN. Mr. Dodd spent his childhood in the Lutts area of Wayne County admiring the beauty God had created. He especially enjoyed building bird houses made of gourds he planted, and watch grow from seedlings. He was mindful of spiritual matters as he was a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Ellis loved nature and loved his home and spending time with family and friends. Ellis Ray Dodd past from this life at his home on February 4,2025 at the age of 78 years and 16 days.

Those left to honor his memory are nieces Amanda Gresham and Jana Balentine; one nephew Shane Armstrong as well as several family members and friends.

Services will be held Friday February 07, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation, LLC chapel in Waynesboro, TN with Greg Eaton and Nolan Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the Susan Moore Cemetery in Lutts. Visitation will begin Friday February 07, 2025, from 11:00 am till 1:00 pm.
