Edward Glenn Merriman, Sr.

Edward Glenn Merriman Sr. was born October 20, 1953 in Oviedo, FL to the late B.H. Merriman and Nellie Ruth Taylor Letson. Mr. Merriman was a person who enjoyed the simple things in life. He liked being around his home, completing various tasks as he worked with his hands. When he was not completing a project, he enjoyed watching TV.  He found his passion in driving a truck and thoroughly enjoyed his job. While he kept his circle small, he enjoyed spending time with his friends. Mr. Merriman departed this life on Saturday, May 16, 2026 in Columbia, TN making his stay in this life some 72 years, 6 months, and 26 days.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Smith Merriman of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Andria Anderson of AL; two sons, Edward Glenn Merriman Jr. of TX; Cody Shane Merriman of Lawrenceburg, TN; four siblings, Mary Hannah, Peggy Culotta, Terri Lucas, and Selma Moore. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Hailey Merriman of OK; Colton Merriman of NE; and Caleb Joe Anders of AL

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ben Merriman Jr.; Steve Merriman and one sister Theresa Merriman
