Dennis A Chambers born 9.30.1952 to Katherine and Duncan Chambers in Millinenocket ,Maine up towards Canada. One of 6 children . Raised in a home in town. Dennis fought a lung disease when young and survive. He fished and hunted with family. After 16yrs in Maine ,his family moved to Florida for his father's health . Went to high school at Largo High School finishing in 1972. Went on to be part of young republicans and work on alco racing 15 speed bikes. Worked construction for several years. Married Margaret Louise Pettit 8.5.1978. Worked at Porters Shell on Redington Beach for 15yrs. Went on to work for Pontiac dealer 5yrs.Then to Dodge city and the marina. The union produced two baby girls. One 1982 then the surprise of a second 1986. He went on to work at St. PETE Jeep Chrysler . Worked for Chrysler until 2005bwhen Dennis and wife moved to Tennessee. Lost parents before 2003 . Enjoyed living here and made friends. A Christian who met his wife in church. Choose to live the retired life. He lived through a broken neck with two operations. Then di well until 8.22.2017 when diagnosed with stage4 cancer in his brain which successfully was beat by surgery ,chemo/ketruda ,radiation at Vanderbilt Dr.Wade Iams . He did wonderful until he slipped broke his pelvis 12.18.2025. Unable to have surgery recovered at home . Hospital 5hen rehab. Tested negative for Covid and perfect lab work. Came home then got sick and sent to Maury Regional where they found Covid and grave illness brought on by Covid . Unrecoverable he went peacefully with Margaret Louise holding his hand 2.6.2026. He has 5 living siblings! One daughter. 3 grand children. Lost one brother 1984 !daughter Diana Worked our paper was killed 2016 in FLA. 2016. Parents all went before 2000. Wife still survives. Memorial services will be announced after 2.14.2026
Memorial services will be held Saturday March 21, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation Chapel in Waynesboro, TN
Visitation with the Chambers family will begin Saturday March 21, 2026 from 11:00 am till 1:00 pm.
