Ms. Denise Butler Howe was born on August 12, 1957, in Waynesboro, TN to the late Joe and Irene Ayers Butler. Ms. Wanda graduated from Collinwood high school and would later marry Robert Howe on February 16, 1974, and would remain married till his passing in 2009. She and her husband made their home raising their family. Ms. Wanda attended the Calvary Baptist Church in Waynesboro, TN. She loved working with those in need as a Certified Nurse's Assistant, cleaning houses and caring for those less fortunate. In her leisure time she enjoyed gardening, shopping and working. Ms. Wanda Denise Butler Howe passed from this life at her home in Collinwood, TN making her stay on this earth some 67 years, 2 months and 1 day.
She is survived by her son Chris Howe and wife Bridgette of Collinwood, TN; sisters Sharon Davis and husband Brian of Waynesboro, TN; Joanne Butler and friend Karen of Lawrenceburg, TN; brother Brian Butler and friend Lawrence of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren Kennedy Pigg husband Wesley of Collinwood, TN, Kensey Wright and husband Brayden of Collinwood, TN, Drey Howe of Collinwood, TN; great grandchildren Lawson Wade Pigg of Collinwood, TN
In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by son Johnathan Howe and nephew Shawn Davis
Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 15, 2024 at 3:00 pm with Craig Mason officiating.
Visitation will begin Tuesday October 15 beginning at 11:00 am till 3:00 pm service time all at the Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation chapel.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Wesley Pigg, Braden Wright, Oneal Dicus, Wade Creecy, James Butler and Jarrod Davis.
Burial will follow in the Collinwood Memorial Gardens.
