Ms. Debra Ann "Debbie" Flowers was born in Joliet, Illinois on September 02, 1962, to the late Harry Flowers Jr. and Dorothy Holmquist Flowers. She attended the Wayne Furnace Church of Christ in Waynesboro, TN. She was a studious person as she earned an associate’s degree. She spent most of her career teaching kindergarten and special needs students, but most recently she was a pivotal member of the Emeralds Restaurant crew. Ms. Flowers passed from this life on June 14, 2024, at Hardin Medical Center at the age of 61 years, 9 months and 21 days.
She is survived by her children Corinne Tordai and husband Jeffery of Morris, Illinois, Karli Francis and husband Chandler of Clifton, TN, and Travis Paterson of Waynesboro, TN; siblings Tammy Vollmer and husband Todd, Michelle Sternisha and husband Stephen, Stephanie Flowers, Antonette Flowers, Harry Flowers III, many nieces and nephews as well as many other loved ones and friends.
Ms. Debra was a hard worker, enjoyed being around others, loved the outdoors, and loved to celebrate every holiday with her family. She enjoyed being with her family anywhere and anytime, but most of all her grandchildren: Carter Francis, Luke Francis and Ella Tordai. were the joys of her life.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by siblings Tina Houle Schmittinger, Dennis McCallister and William McCallister.
Services will be held Sunday June 23,2024 from 1:00 pm till 3:00 pm at Emeralds Restaurant in Waynesboro.
