Deborah Prater Obituary

Deborah Sue Rodgers Prater was born June 26, 1961 in Lima, OH to the late Jimmy Rodgers and Deanna Rabe Rodgers, who survives. She was united in marriage to Greg Prater on May 29, 2005. Mrs. Prater loved gardening of most any kind and spent the last few years working hard in her flower beds. She enjoyed canning, reading, especially mysteries, and will be fondly remembered for her creative mind. She enjoyed traveling and enjoyed trips to the Smoky Mountains and Panama City Beach, among other places. Decorating the house seasonally was something she enjoyed but she especially loved Christmas. She will be forever remembered for her caring, compassionate, helping nature. She was an animal person that loved all animals, namely elephants and bees. Mrs. Prater departed this life on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 making her stay in this life some 62 years, 5 months, and 24 days.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Greg Prater of Clifton, TN; her mother, Deanna Rabe Rodgers of Lima, OH; her children, Roseanna Rodgers of Savannah, TN; Roenna Rodgers of Clifton, TN; Talmadge Bradley of Columbia, TN; Rheanna Bradley (Jacky Chan) of Savannah, TN; Nick Prater (Brandi) of Clifton, TN; Corey Prater (Lacy) of Clifton, TN; three sisters, Cheri Baker (Mark) of Brighton, TN; Eva Fensler (Darryl) of Ada, OH; Corinne Rodgers of Dallas, TX; 5 grandchildren, Noah, Lucas, Conner, Jamison and Caroline
