Mrs. Connie Kirk Crews was born December 04, 1936 in the Flatwoods community of Perry County to the union of the late Lexie “L.E.” and Mattie Clara Edwards Kirk. She was united in marriage to Terrell Crews on December 12, 1954 at the Foote Street Church of Christ in Corinth, MS. Many will remember her time working in the cafeteria at Waynesboro Middle School. Mrs. Connie loved spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. She especially loved watching as her grandchildren and great grandchildren played sports. Truly, she loved sports, when not watching the grandchildren play, she enjoyed watching Tennessee and the Yankees play. She was a dedicated member of the Wayne Furnace Church of Christ. Mrs. Connie was the kind of person you simply knew she loved you. Mrs. Connie left this walk of life for her eternal reward on Saturday, June 01, 2024 at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 28 days.
