Bruce O’Neil Blair
January 31, 1956 - September 23, 2023
Bruce O’Neil Blair was a passionate man who found joy in being with family, working with his hands, and watching his grandchildren thrive.
He was born and raised in Memphis, TN and graduated from the University of Memphis with a degree in Business Management. Bruce's tireless work ethic and dedication to the Sara Lee Bakery Group led him through a 30 year career with the world renowned bakery. He was meticulous in his workings and prided himself on his career successes. In his spare time he loved working outside and spending time with his grandchildren. Watching them play sports brought him pure joy.
On September 23rd, 2023, in Waynesboro, TN, Bruce O’Neil Blair passed away peacefully. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Blair and Opal Blair. Bruce is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa Blair, his sisters Denise Hamby (Mike) and Patricia Stewart (Frank), his children Landon Blair, Bergen Sheppard (Luke), Caleb Blair (Taylor), and Paul Sutton (Stephanie). Bruce also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Aniston Sheppard, Ridley Sheppard, and Harper Blair-Cox.
He will be missed dearly by those who loved him and remembered for his passion and ability to light up the lives of those around him.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, September 29th at 1:00pm at Crossway Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee (4194 Shelbyville Hwy, Murfreesboro, TN 37127). All are welcome to come and join together in remembering Bruce O’Neil Blair’s legacy.
