Billy Earl Hobbs

Mr. Billy Earl Hobbs age 50 of Waynesboro was born August 23, 1972 in East Prairie Missouri to Joseph Perry Hobbs, Sr and the late Betty Rushing Hobbs. Mr. Billy worked in maintenance for Brown Forman. In his free time, he loved riding horses and spending time with family especially his grandbabies. Mr. Hobbs departed this life on Sunday March 12, 2023 in Waynesboro. 

In addition to his father, Survivors include his wife Shelly Cannon Hobbs; two daughters, Allie Hobbs Rhodes and husband Jordan; Makayla Fox and husband Robert; one son Drew Couch all of Waynesboro, TN; one brother David Hobbs and wife Kelly of Savannah, TN; one sister Gracie Hobbs of Waynesboro, TN; he is also survived by four grandchildren, Hayden Rhodes, Hadley Rhodes, Avree Fox and Levi Fox.

In addition to his mother he is preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Hobbs and Joseph Hobbs Jr. 

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, March 16, 2023 beginning at 3:00 PM with David Miller officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 12:00 PM until service time at 3:00 PM all at Ray’s Chapel Baptist Church in Waynesboro.

Following services, in accordance with his wishes, Mr. Hobbs will be cremated.
