Bertha Jean Anderson

Ms. Bertha Jean Anderson was born on May 27, 1939, in Athens, OH. to the late Lloyd Franklin Morgan and Blanch Mildred Smith Morgan. She passed from this life on January 22, 2024, in Columbia, TN at the Maury Regional Medical Center making her stay on this earth some 84 years 7 months and 26 days. She married her husband Charles Anderson in 1978 and remained married until his death in 2011. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a dedicated home maker who enjoyed cooking, cleaning, playing board games and dearly loved her family and friends. 

She is survived by her daughters Melody Lincoln of MI and Debbie Alley of Collinwood, TN; grandchildren include Katherine Rose and James Cothran both of Denton, TX   Rachael Stanford of KS, and Jerame Phelps of MI along with several great-grandchildren with especial attention toward Rodney.

The family would also like to recognize her best friends and care givers Tracey Martin and Ann who did all they could to bring joy to her life. 

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday January 28, 2024 at Greenwood Cemetery.
