Barbara Gail Brown

Barbara Gail Brown was born January 22, 1948 in Clifton, TN to the late Harold S. Brown and Correna Rippy Brown Shaw. She worked the majority of her adult life in a dry cleaners and lived in Iuka, MS. She loved keeping her mind active and spent a lot of time doing crossword puzzles, cross stitch, ceramics, and loved to keep up with her friends and loved ones through facebook. Miss Brown departed this life on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 in Adamsville, TN making her stay in this life some 77 years, 11 months, and 2 days.

She is survived by two brothers, Ronald Brown (Becky) of Savannah, TN; Anthony Brown (Rose) of Adamsville, TN; three sisters, Gwen Franks (Paul) of Olive Hill, TN; Shellee Harrison of Savannah, TN; Lisa Davison (Tony) of Paducah, KY; one sister-in-law Judy Brown  of Savannah, TN; she is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Christina, Paul, Frances, Pamela, Patrick, Rusty, Angela, Katrina, Sabrina, Stephen, Jared, Alec, Timmy, Kerry, Lorilyn; T.J.; Rachel; and two great-nephews whom she viewed as grandchildren-of-the-heart, Eli and Easton.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, David H. Brown and Edgar Ray Brown and a niece Jennifer Davison Rucker

Visitation with the Brown Family will be on Saturday, December 27, 2025 from 4:30 PM until service time Sunday, December 28, 2025 at 1:00 PM.

Funeral Services will begin on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Olive Hill with Tommy Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in Havanna Cemetery.
